- Please reserve your table in advance so that your visit is as coordinated and smooth as possible. Reservations for groups are only possible if they are people belonging to their own or another household.
- Always keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from everyone present.
- For safety reasons, a table distance of at least 1.5 meters from each other is mandatory. Also pay attention to the observance of the distance requirement on the traffic routes (entrance area, stairs, doors, and toilets). If the distances are less than 1.5 meters, the use of a mouth-nose cover is recommended.
- Please use the options provided by us to disinfect your hands or wash them with soap.
- Due to the distance regulations, a visit is only possible with an assigned seat, please follow the instructions of our employees.
- Sitting together of several guests at a table (without a distance of 1.5 meters) is only permitted to those guests who are allowed to contact each other. These are only the people from the circle of relatives of their own, as well as another household. The term "family" is synonymous with the term "household", it is not the degree of kinship that counts, but the living together. The number of people in a household or family does not matter.
- Please avoid body contact and therefore avoid shaking hands and hugs.
- Restaurateurs must collect and save your guests' data (last name, first name of the guest, date and start and end of the visit as well as telephone number or address) in order to be able to provide information to the health department or the local police authority. Otherwise it is not possible to visit a restaurant. The data will be deleted after 4 weeks.
- Our employees are encouraged to keep contact and communication with you as a guest to a minimum for the safety of everyone, please do not regard this as a sign of disdain.
- Please use the possibility of cashless payment, ideally by the table. If you pay in cash, please use the designated device or storage space.
Here are a few more questions and answers on this topic!
- Is there a reservation requirement for guests?
No, according to the ministries' interpretation instructions of May 15, 2020, there is no obligation to make a reservation. However, if the operator makes a reservation by email or telephone in his restaurant, he must inform the guests of this by posting outside the restaurant
- Does every guest have to provide their details?
The data of each guest must be collected. It is only sufficient for people who live together in a common household if the data is collected from a member of the household. However, restaurateurs are not obliged to check the accuracy of the information provided and are not authorized to do so for data protection reasons.
- How many people can sit at the same table?
There is no requirement for a number of people. The decisive factor is which guests are seated at a table. Relevant are the current contact restrictions in public space (e.g. in restaurants): stay permitted alone, in the circle of members of your own household plus one other household, i.e. a maximum of 2 households.
The minimum distance to other people must be observed, except for the duty to distance are relatives of their own and another household, which is why this group of people can also sit together at one table in a bar and restaurant business.
- Can I ask my guests to wear a mask in the entrance or on the way to the toilet?
A mandatory mask for guests in the restaurant is not required by law. However, if you want to promote infection control, guests can recommend wearing the masks, especially if the minimum distance between the guests, for example on the way to the toilets, cannot be maintained. In the event that the restaurateur wants to make the entry of his business dependent on the guest wearing a mask in the restaurant, he must mark this as his decision within the scope of his house rights and clearly indicate this to guests at the entrance of the restaurant.
- Is cash payment allowed?
According to the regulation, cash payments should be avoided as far as possible, but it is not prohibited. According to the design instructions, cash and receipts must be handed over “contactlessly” using a small tray or a fixed deposit. Nevertheless, the restaurateur must point out the cashless payment option if it is offered in his company.
